Sounds like the printer is not getting the proper calibration on the label being used. After putting printer in pause and pressing calibrate button, a good calibration is indicated by the labels feeding, a slight hesitation, and the feeding a couple of more labels at a faster speed. If the labels just feed and then stop, that is not a good calibration. Then you have to make sure the top and bottom media sensor are properly aligned.

My Zebra ZDesigner LP2844 feeds a blank label after printing a label. How do I make it stop doing that?

Define your label size correctly. Measure your LABEL exactly, do not include the backing paper or the gap. Calibrate the printer. HOW?
Power off printer. Press and hold the green feed button down and power printer on. Count one, two and release green button. The printer will calibrate and move labels and then print some stuff on the label. Wait until it has comletely stopped. wait another few seconds and the press the feed key once. The printer will print "out of dump". You should now be ready to print again.

My HP photosmart 2710 all-in-one has "spot sensor

Hi,

The Spot Sensor Out of Calibration error comes due to color paper placed in paper tray.

Follow the steps to resolve this issue.

1. Under printing preferences set the paper type to plain paper instead of automatic. This makes it so that the spot sensor doesn't need to look at the paper.
2. The spot sensor, when calibrating, needs plain white paper. Setting the plain paper instead of automatic helps if you are just printing, but colored paper makes the spot sensor confused during calibration.

If you are still not able to print, there is a utility program that fixes the issue too and which will be helpful for you in future use too. Click on the link to download the utility program : Utility download

Hope this resolves the issue.

Kadak Easy Share 5300 printer. Screen reads "Please wait"-stuck

Try this one
Take out the inks and printhead
Leave the cartridge door open, then unplug the power cord from the back of the printer while the access door is open
Close the cartridge door once the cord is unplugged
Reconnect the powercord, turn on the printer, then your printer will look for your printhead "Printhead missing or not installed correctly..."
Then put everything back. make sure it will snap in to place. Then print a calibration page, then scan it. This is just over writing the error message.

Inconsistent printing.

The sensor tag is not well calibrated, press FEED, PAUSE and CANCEL, turn on the printer and release the keys when you move the label to print and let the end be calibrated.

My kodak easyshare5300 is printing black picture

Hi-

If your product is still within the warranty period from KOdak then you can call them up for some step by step troubleshooting to help you with your problem and as well they can replace the printer if defective.

Try this first

Calibrate your printer, then print a demo sheet.
  1. If paper is in the photo paper tray, remove it.
  2. Load photo paper into the photo tray.
    1. Fan the paper to keep the sheets from sticking together. IMPORTANT: Do not overload the photo tray.
    2. Load a maximum of 20 sheets into the photo tray, with the Kodak logo facing up.
    3. Engage the photo tray by pushing it in until it stops. p289_0006aa.jpg
  3. Calibrate your printer.
    1. Press Menu.
    2. Select Calibrate Printer, then press Start.
    3. Wait for your printer to print the calibration sheet.
    4. Place the calibration sheet face down on the scanner glass.
      • For the 5300 AiO printer, place the sheet on the front right corner of the scanner glass.
      • For the 5500 AiO printer, place the sheet on the left rear corner of the scanner glass.
    5. Press Start.
    6. Wait until "Calibration complete. Remove calibration page from scanner glass. Press OK to continue." appears on the LCD display.
    7. Remove the calibration sheet from the scanner glass, then press OK.
  4. Print a demo sheet.
    1. Disengage the photo tray by sliding it towards you until it stops. When the photo tray is disengaged, the main tray is active.
    2. Select Print Demo Page, then press Start.
    3. Wait for the demo sheet to print.

Then call them if issue Persist at these numbers:
