SOURCE: dishwasher leaking around the bottom of the door
We just had the very same problem and sure enough a flexible cutting board was over the outlet...very strange but thanks
SOURCE: after adding Jet Dry to
BE Sure you are not using detergent that has the softener/rinse agent
already included. The electrasol 3in 1 tablets will cause an over
abundance of suds if you use the two together. The water becomes
very soft. You have locked up the pump with suds.
use 1/2cup salt to flush followed by 1/4c oil.
Thanks
SOURCE: Bosch dishwasher has water in bottom after cycle is complete
Hi
Kindly check for the following :
Check for hose kinks or food plugging drain hose. Start at the drain port exit.
Check the check valve and drain hose for debris.
Check pump motor for reversing during the pump out make sure the dishwasher is pausing between the wash and drain cycles letting the pump/motor reverse for the drain cycle.
Check pump motor assembly for a drain solenoid, during the pump out make sure the solenoid makes that distinctive "clunk" noise
If you have recently installed a new garbage disposal, check knock-out plug at connection.
Check pump impeller for damage.
Check that the water inlet valve isn't seeping fresh water into the dishwasher when off.
Please contact for any further clarifications.
A Fixya Rating would be appreciated if.
Thanks

Hello Richard, Welcome to Fixya ! You've come to the right place. The problem you're experiencing unfortunately is a common one. The water inlet valve has been an issue with B/S/H built ( this includes bosch, thermador, seimens & gaggenau ) dishwasher's going back to the mid 90's. The part to repair it is available at most brick & mortar appliance part centers or you can check out on-line vendors such as repairclinic, apwagner etc. Do a search for part # 1105846 at repairclinic, you'll see what I'm talikng about. By the way it's about $35. Hope that helps move you forward. Let me know if I can assist you further, or need help on how to change it etc. It's relatively easy with Bosch. Thanks for coming to "fixya" for your inquiries and please take a second to rate this answer according to my helpfulness. Goof luck. Macmarkus :)
