More often than not the thermal fuses /diodes are blown. If you wish this repaired contact [email protected] If the thermal fuses are still intact, the element between 1800 - 2200 depending on your model.

The heating elements that dry the clothes is more than likely burnt out. If the drier turns on and the clothes tumble then the element is the only other possible reason for the drier not to heat up. This element is in the bottom of the drier and can be accessed through the removal of the back panel. It will more than likely be in a square metal box. It isn't hard to replace as you will see but you will need to take the model and serial #'s to an appliance parts house for the proper replacement part.

Good luck hope this helped

Tumble dryer isblowing cold air only?

Your dryer is called smart dryer and in this case should have to generate familiy code E60 (or any of exactly fault code E61,62,63,64,65,66,67) if blowing cold air, as you explain. Means something is wrong with heating phase (drying).
So, in this case could be: Heater unit faulty; Wiring faulty; NTC sensor faulty/out of position; Electronic board faulty;
Thermostat faulty; and finally fun motor - but considering that it blows cool air I guess that is correct.

Dryer is not heating up.

90% of electric dryers emitting cold air need a new heating element installed. If you've checked the thermal fuse, and verified the unit has around 220 volts of power, then the only thing left is the heating element. Typically costs around $40-$60. Can be done by you if you have basic electrical knowledge, otherwise call an electrician.

Kenmore 90 series electric dryer blowing cold air only

1st check the breakers
2nd check wiring in back to see connections are secure.
3rd check element. It would be burned in two.
4th check thermal overload switch which is located underneath top of dryer. Easy to remove top. Probably 4-6 screws.
