Error 61 on the nsm is a cd read error nothing to do with the amp, clean laser lens with a cotton bud and spit not spirits etc just saliva, then make a blank selection and see if the laser emits red beam, if not then the laser is faulty, check connections etc, if it picks up the disc but does not spin it its the decoder at fault, places like act marketing london, jukebox showroom, capital coin, herondata sales or anyone operator within the amusement industry will gladly sell you an exchange unit, or just try the coinslot industy magazine online or order via wh smiths
Error 61 means no cd reconized by player check cd,exchange cd player or decoder board

The NSM Jukeboxes (i think you have a Compact Disk one) have too many trouble with the final power amplifiers, to avoid future problems, replace all of the original amplifiers with a customized one. The original parts are very hard to get and doesn't last too much time.
Anyone know how to get the selections to go back in once you’ve pulled the service switch? Literally pulled it out and thought better of it and pushed it back in. Now the numbers won’t punch in
Can I get service manual for Jukebox MSN Hit 120 A

I have a wall mounted NSM Juke box, takes the money, gives you the credit, you make your selection...then nothing, no take off, acts as if no selection was ever made...then says error 61..
Thanks, Rick
I just fixed my error 61 code it is not the eye needed cleaning it is the eye being in the wrong position the eye pivots right to left if the eye is stuck to the right it needs to be to the left
Error 61 on the nsm - I find that mine does this when it’s cold, I’ve it mounted in a room rarely used and switch off. If you perform the function below, it will perform a continuous test of all cds. Eventually it warms / frees up and starts playing after 20cds. I walk out and leave it to do its thing.
Further, I purchased a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the AUX cables within the box and powered by a usb into a 3 pin plug beside. I usually listen to Spotify etc through it and then if I’m interested in a Cd it usually just selects and plays as it’s warm.
Continous run tests: P151: Plays all CDs for 16 sec. (F1):
open cabinet and pull function/ program button in top right corner.
Enter: P - 151 - H - 0
it’ll then run through attempting to play all CDs.
A continuous run can only be stopped by pressing the cabinet switch.
