This should restore it to default.

By default there is no username or password required to access CentreWare Internet Services. If a username and password have been configured for CentreWare Internet Services and you do not remember the username and / or password, reset the printer to factory defaults (NVRAM reset).
To reset the NVRAM, go to the front panel's Main Menu:

  1. Select Troubleshooting, then press the OK button.
  2. Select Service Tools, then press the OK button.
  3. Select Reset NVRAM, press the OK button.
  4. Select Reset NVRAM and Reset Printer NOW, then press the OK button to reset all the settings to their factory default values.

Xerox phaser 3600 factory reset

If you're locked out of the NVRAM reset from the control panel, you can still try performing a network reset by going to the Network menu and selecting Clear Setting. After rebooting, you should be able to get in through the administrative web interface at http:// using the default username of admin and password 1111

How to reset admin password on phaser 3635

xerox machines come with default passwords.
once that password is changed only the changer knows it.
should he forget or lose the password he flat has a problem.
the reset requires a xerox laptop/tech to reset and they "will bill" you for doing it.

Xerox phaser 7760 saying "non-phaser imaging unit"

There is a snippet on the Xerox website to solve imaging unit recognition problems, link below. http://www.support.xerox.com/support/phaser-7760/downloads/engb.html?operatingSystem=winxp&fileLanguage=en_GB Usually this problem only occurs if the NVRAM has been reset or the engine board has been replaced without backing up the NVRAM. You can download the snippet to your printer through Centreware or by downloading the 'File Downloader' utility from the same page above.
Hope this helps.

Password Problem Phaser 6120

Unfortunetly, you will have to reset the printer. Using the control panel go to the default setting and scroll to reset to factory settings. Then select yes and that should take care of it. If not, then in the rear of the printer under the cover, upper left side you will find the memory button battery. Remove the battery, unplug the unit, and turn it on for about a minute. Turn it off and put it back together and you should be ok. Good luck.
