I installed the software that came with the camcorder on 2 pc's one with XP and one with VISTA. Neither see the camera when connected

Generally when you connect the camera via USB Windows XP and Vista activate native drivers and the camera becomes visible under "My Computer" (XP) or "Computer" (Vista) as a removable drive. However, probably will not be visible by capture software. In that case you would need to use a DV interface cable otherwise known as firewire and have the camcorder in playback mode.

NV-DS50 I have moved & lost the install disc. how / where do I install the necessary drivers from. Went to the panasonic sight & it was useless. Please help
i have lost the disc to and when i plug the usb cable it doesnt show up in removeble disc can some one please tell me where i can download this program
