I have a 3-year old [Philips flat HDTV 42" plasma digital cable ready with Pixel Plus], model number [42PF7320A/37].
There is a constant black vertical 3"-wide line in the center of the screen, that goes from the top to the bottom of the screen. Right next to this line is a multicolored vertical 1"-wide line. These lines do not go away. Everything else seems to be okay.
I would like to know what the problem could be, and how difficult it would be to fix.

3 flashes indicates that there is a problem in the power supply circuit. Being that you have experience with this, you might be able to fix it.

hello, amigo if the all the caps are godd then you have to replace the power supply board. don't try to fix it this is not an easy task. you are looking at almost $200.00 with tax an shipping. just go to google and type your tv model # and ask for the power supply board or just look for the part# on the board itself. good luck
