I have a Sharp Aquos # LC-45GD4U. It now suddenly turns off by itself and stays off until I turn it back on. This happens while watching live TV or playing back a recorded show. Ideas?

Check the ventilation fins on the back. Sometimes they get obstructed with dust and then heat builds up. The TV then shuts down to protect itself from overheating. You can use a blow dryer to blow it out.

Sharp aquos tv lost blue tones

Examine the set with the color OFF and if No blue (odd problem) check hookup----component uses red, green and blue cables and if blue cable is bad and signal is from component on a box---box could be bad.

Easy way to know---hook DVD etc to a rear inputs= still no blue?

How do I fix the color on my tv

In the steup menu there should be a setting called "HUE" try adjusting that. If that does not work, you may have lost "green drive" circuits in your TV.
If the menu windows have the right colors, try playing a DVD or a video on it. If they look good you may have a problem with channel tuner or antenna.

I have a 42 in. Sharp Aquos HDTV - accidently pulled the plug while the tv was on - and now the colors are primarily green/yellow and blue- seem to have lost "red". I've tried to reset to factory settings...

Try a different AC cord first the one you have may a resistance problem. Also try plugging it into a different wall outlet. If still the same problem, somehow your convergence circuit has a fault.

But see if another ac cord works for you first...

get back to me on this when you have time.....
