I have a hp psc 2410 photosmart all in one printer scanner etc.. I have purchased a new sd card and when I insert it into the slot it comes up with "memory card error" please help !

HP no longer provides support for drivers for this printer. The newer Windows OS will support the printer natively, but sometimes it requires a little finesse from the user. Well, either the 4GB card contacts are grotty, or the HP PSC 2410 doesn't like your SDHC card somehow; though SDHC cards are supposed to be able to ratchet down to SD for compatibility and a driver update could possibly fix this, it hasn't yet. Use a card that isn't SDHC; this probably limits you to 2GB or 4GB (see the readme in the HP print driver setup package you use.)
Make sure you inserting the paper not deep inside just insert and stop it when you feel any resistance .and try to print something. If it is print then well otherwise you have to show it service center.

I have the same PSC 2410 and contacted HP the print software is included in Leopard 10.5 but the scan is not. They have "no" plans on producing software and went as far as to recommend third party scanner software to make it work.
"memory card error" displays on printer when I put camera disk into slot.
