Front screen is blank

The small screen on the front, above the number pad, is blank like it isnt even on
When I press OK and open the phone it shows the menu.
I can make outgoing calls and everything functions as it should..... the screen is just blank
Tried different battery, turning off and on, charging, and messing with settings.

The same thing happened to me. Yesterday the front screen just stopped functioning. The phone works fine otherwise.

I have this same problem right now and its not like i did anything to make it happen, like drop it in water, it just happened randomly. I got it for christmas from my mom but she didn't buy the insurance from verizon for it. would they still help me with it? It's only been like 2 months!

Some times phones just do this, they malfunction.. my chocolate did it many times. take it in to a verizon store they will give you a new one. Hope it all works out! =]

The micro ribbon wire may be damaged if its blank if the phone is old this may be the case opening and closing breaks the ribbon wire after time. If it is new return for replacement. also in menu, phone, display is where all adjustments are.

I have charged my phone and do not know how to start it the screen is blank

press and hold the right button on the front screen if that doesnt work, make sure the battery isnt loose and that its charged all the way. if that doesnt work call att, its probably a device issue and they can give you replacement options.

My z310a Sony Ericcson's screen is blank.

i had the same problem, just wiggle the top half of the phone like you wanna break it (but don't break it) The problem is a loose wire between the two phone parts... wiggle it.... just a little bit

White screen!!

my lg's camera started to turn my phone off, i do tech work for a wireless company and when i was trouble shooting my own phone as a test i went to my camera and my screen went blank! i tryed every thing, but the master reset. because my screen is blank i need to know the number i will have to enter to get it reset from the key pad.

Phone works for about a minute then goes black and dies

The keyboard cable is worn or broken, take it to a service center for replacement. The keyboard cable has a small magnetic switch that detects when the phone cover is open or closed. If the keyboard isn't working and the internal screen is blank, the phone detects that the cover was closed.

How to cahnge the battery on a sentry safe

There is a small opening on the front number panel of safe. Use a small hex screwdriver or pin to insert into opening. It will open up the front panel (slide panel to right to take off) showing you 4 AA batteries. Just replace and close panel. Very simple to do. I wish the manual show me how. Instead of trying to figure it out for hours.

m8 sounds like your screen is faulty or your ribbon has been damaged in some way.to fix it you will need to open it and have a look at the ribbon if there is any damage vissible no matter how small it means ur ribbon is gone an you need a new 1.it could also be your screen if there isnt any damage on the ribbon then it could be the screen.it could be a combination of both. word of caution: if you try to open it yourself you could damage the ribbon.you wont notice it but its very easy to do.so be carefull. but if you want an expert to do it for try these guys http://www.mobilephoneservicecentre.co.uk/ good luck

Dear. most chances are that that the flate of ur phone is bad connect be cause of dropping. just open it and reattach the cable will ok. cable is from board to lcd and it may be bad connect on any side lcd or board first check it from board side if no t ok then from lcd side even no ok change a new cable.
