Westinghouse lcd tv ltv-27w2 no picture or sound

No sound or picture on the westinghouse LTV-27w2 blue light comes on then turns orange... help

    I have same problem. My model is the LTV-27w7. Started suddenly. TV worked fine when I went to bed the night before then next AM no picture or sound. In "System Settings" HDMI and YPb...2 are now not available as an input option. I switched the cables in the back to Y.....1 and I get picture and sound again. Still no HDMI in however. No power loss overnight. No other changes. Cable box (Time Warner/Scientific Atlanta 8300HD DVR) works fine on other TV.

If the blue light comes on then orange its the power supply inside pretty affordable and easy fix

That could be either the Power supply or the main board. I would think the main board is most likely because of the Blue screen you mentioned.

It is a little difficult to be certain where the problem is with that description, but at least statistically it is more likely to be in the power board than the main board.

You can send it for repair to us or you can search for a replacement, they go about $70-$80.

Model LTV-27w2 westinghouse
The tv got a heat sensor, the only way to fix tv , if you are a tv tech, is to buy a bottle of "freez it" spray small sections of tv in side. It will be clearly where the fault is if you spray correct part that give trouble. Replace that part and Tv will be Ok.

My Westinghouse tv turns on. Than shuts off right away. I have Telus. Sometimes the screen w/o show "No signal" while other times will sorta show Telus screen. Blue light pops up when turn it off.
