No sound on dell dimension 4600

According to Microsoft, Sound Blaster 1040 fully compatible with Win 7 and does not need any extra software. Use Windows 7 Update and check for updates, under optional as well.

Hi i want the driver of creative sound card sb0200 for win7 32 bit. tell me the link plzzz. early

To make this driver work on Windows 7 32 bit, download the official Dell driver from the link in rehnanahmed50's post. Then double click it to create he install directory. Finally go to the install directory and right click the .exe and select troubleshoot compatibly. Widows 7 will then run it as Windows XP sp2. Once installed, reboot and the sound and game port will work great.

I cant find creative sb live card for vista

Sorry, this is not really a solution, but it appears Creative considered these products to be 'End of Life' in early 2008, and never developed a driver for Vista. Good luck!

If you have installed any Windows XP applications for your Sound Blaster X-Fi card, it is recommended that you uninstall these (Windows XP) applications before installing the Sound Blaster X-Fi Vista Installation CD. To uninstall, go to Control Panel, and select Programs and Features, and then choose the applications that you need to uninstall.
