My wii doesn't take discs in

The mechanical arms or the insert disc sensor is damaged. The easiest repair would be to have the disc drive replaced.

I have a Bush DVD15TV, when I insert a dvd it says 'loading' then changes to 'no disc'. Can you advise please? I have tried to put a lens cleaner in and it does the same thing.

Have you tried using another disc?

Sometimes DVD-r discs will not read properly, or may be defective.

Try to use another disc, one that is clean!

When i insert a CD, it won't accept it, "disc error" appears. What is the solutions.

hello there soenensistva
Well first of all Compact discs are easy to be read by a DVD player then ordinary Cd player cause of their lens are made for more compressed Data discs..there for try some of the options

1. make sure that the disc Surface is Clean and don't have finger prints or any other material that is disturbing the the read process between the CD and lens present inside CD player

2.if your CD is precious for you ( that consist some important Data you may need ) then try a DVD player for that

3.if both things doesn't work try a cleaning Cd for Cleaning the Head of CD player .

i wish that your problem may be solved
Best Regards

Can't play CDs in my car. The Unit gives me error code 4

The error 4 in most CD Player is an error that comes up when the laser pickup doesn't read the disc correctly. This happens most of the time because of a dirty lens in the laser pickup. If anyone smokes in the vehicle the smoke may be on the lens causing the error code. Try a wet type CD cleaning disc to see if it helps.

"Error 4" is a mechanical disc loading problem. The disc probably hasn't been seating in the #6 carrier properly, leading to some mechanical interference when it is selected. It would seem to be properly seated now, but next time you have it out you might check it on a perfectly smooth flat surface to be sure it is not warped slightly. Try another disc in that position, one you know to be trouble-free.

I burn a lot of discs for my clients and have never had a problem with the mid or high-grade discs from Taiyo Yuden, and others. Even lesser discs like Ritek perform fairly well. Some brands - usually the no-names - fail right out of the box. One of the problems seems to be that the cheapest discs are pretty thin and subject to mechanical problems like warping.

If you use "economy" discs particularly, be sure to put a label on them. Most of the cheap discs don't have much of a protective coat on top and scratching the top metal foil finish can lead to serious playback troubles as the disc is read by the laser from the bottom.. In addition to telling you what's ON the disc, the label helps protect that critical foil.

Hope helps.

MY CONSOLE KEEPS SAYING CAN'T READ DISC

The most common reason for the games not reading discs is a bad drive. The following website sells the drives and does installs:

store.richspsxparts.com/wiiredvddr

This drive should fix any reading issues you are having with your games, or issues inserting your games or ejecting them (or lack thereof). This is the entire DVD drive assembly mechanism replacement for your game including a new laser. If your discs are not ejecting, or you cannot insert a disc -- or you can insert a disc but it will not load, this is what you need to get your game going again!

Take care.

Games discs purchased in the USA do not work on the UK model? Message on screen "could not read Disc"

The Wii console is designed to only recognize the disc in that region.
If you insert a disc from another region, the Wii can't read it.
You live in the UK, for example. If you insert discs that aren't purchased in the UK (like the USA), the Wii can't read it.

Dvd drive will not read burned discs

The laser is weak and its not burning discs properly to begin with. Get a new drive put in there and that will take care of the problem cause a new drive will have a new laser in it.

Try using a DVD scanner eye cleaner. It is aDVD with a brush grafted to it. I suspect the scanner eye is dirty so it cannot read the boot starp properly and so ejects

Recovery

this is a READ error known as a CYCLIC REDUNDANCY READ ERROR.
If the CD ROM is not able to read from the disc .. it gives u this error
This can come due to many reasons
1. OLD CD ROM - not able to read data properly
2. CD with lot of scratches
3. CD not written properly: Data not burn properly on CD at the time of its make.

Solution: Try to insert a new CD in it and then check whether it works or not
or get a CD LENS CLEANER DISC which will remove any kind of small debris on the lens on the CD ROM and then it will work.
This would surely help
