I have a sears Craftsman 1/2 HP garage door that was working fine,all of a sudden when I close the door,using the wireless remote, the door goes down to about 12 inches off the ground then pops back up as if the safety engages. I made sure nothing was in the way and that the safety signals on both side of the door are operating and adjusted correctly. Is there a way to reset it or any ideas would be great

Check the sensors in the doorway. They should both have a small light that is lit and not flickering. Tweak them a little. If you cannot get both lights to come on you have bad sensors.

You are going to have to get in there and find your problem. There isn't a common answer for this.

Is the light in the wall control blinking? If so press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds.

If the main light flashes 10 times when you try to close the door it is a sensor problem. Make sure they are not flickering ever so slightly and that they are not loose on their brackets. Tweak them a little bit.

If the remote opens and closes while inside the garage but not outside , there are a few things it could be. Assuming it was working fine before..
1. weak battery in remote.
2. remote itself could be bad. (unless you have more than 1 remote acting the same)
3. Logic board in opener is going bad causing limited range.Is the wire that hangs down from the opener straightened out? That is your remote antenna.Some people have coiled or even cut it off..reducing range.
4. Less likely but this can happen- interference from another electronic device, wireless routers, cell phone, new appliances etc.. can reduce remote range. Any new electronics recently purchased?

Your receiver has quit which is part of the logic board.

I have no idea what a 132C2105-3B is but try this. Hold the button down on the remote and then press and immediately release the smart/learn button. If the remote is the correct one for your opener it should work.

If you can press and hold the wall button and the door will go down, you have a photo eye issue. Check the photo eyes at the bottom of the door.
