Not able to get the auxillary channel. I know to channel down but it does from 1 to 125. I've tried the preset channels again - it doesn't show. Game is on. I have the remote. Any suggestions?

  • Anonymous Mar 06, 2010

As I noted, I did go the channel menu and ran the preset again.

  • Anonymous Mar 06, 2010

The last expert told me to try the channel menu to see if running it will bring the aux. back but I already had done that.

It's possible that the AUX channel was erased from the display menu. Go to your CHANNEL SET menu choice and and use your DOWN CHANNEL button to see if the AUX channel will come back.

Instructions for jensen jcr-425 clock radio, how to set clock

To preset a channel on the JCR-425, you tune in the channel; press the "AL/MEM" button on top of the radio (at which time you will probably be switched to some other radio frequency, which is rather disconcerting), press the "Up" or "Down" button to select the desired preset channel number, press "Set" -- and only then are you returned to your desired radio station. If you want to preset several channels,
You might then think that the next time you turn on the radio that all you would have to do is press one of the 10 preset channel buttons on the front of the radio to visit one of your preset radio stations. You would be wrong. You must turn on the radio, then press the "AL/MEM" button on top of the radio. Only then can you access your preset radio stations.
You might also think that to turn on the radio you would press a button that says "Power." Wrong. You press a button that says "Radio." Well, okay. But you might think that to turn it off, you would just press the "Radio" button again. Wrong. If you have pressed the "AL/MEM" button to access your preprogrammed channels, pressing the "Radio" button simply takes you out of the "AL/MEM" function and back to the "FM" (or "AM") function, apparently taking you back to the last radio station you tuned in manually. To turn off the radio after accessing a preset channel, you must press "Radio" twice.

My RCA XL100 is hooked up to cable and works perfectly fine. We've had it for ages and the picture is clear, sound is beautiful, and it gets along fine with my universal remote. There's just one...

Some of their very old sets the video input was located on channels in the 90's; Try scrolling down from 99 to 90 to see if you locate the video input; this is just the way they did things in the older sets.

Before you rate this solution let me know what you find first.

My samsung ps42c91hdx/xsa tv wont tune in the high def channel 10. the tv can't find it. My sons tvs are picking it up so it cant be the signal.

go to MENU, SETUP,

There you can reset to factory settings. After you set the clock and date, it will ask to scan for all active channels and it will block out the channels it does not find a signal for. Let it complete this task (20 minutes). It asks you for the type of signal but just leave the STD setting for both options before starting the channel finding routine.

When complete, go to channel 10 to see what show is on (low def version). then click down to channel 2 and then push the channel down button several times again to try and find the HD version of that show. (HD channels are high-number channels that are easiest to get to by scrolling below channel 2. Most will have a hyphan in the channel name (e.g. 93-2; 94-1, 94-2, ...).

If your TV goes directly to a 2-digit channel, they you do not have an HD tuner in your set. I doubt that is true so I think you will find what you need.

Let me know if it doesn't work.
