GE Model No. 2-9320B land line phone says it takes a lithium battery but when I take cover off there is no place for a battery?

The indoor unit batteries are weak and not collecting data from the outdoor unit. My indoor unit battery need replacing every 6 months, and I replace the outdoor battery every year. I buy Amazon Basis CR2032 in packs of 5. Yours takes AA Lithium Batteries.

the model on most (sticker tag ) is inside the battery well.
cover off battery out look.
SOME USE 2.4V NImH BATTERY THAT must be charged for 16 hours, say so on side of battery.

If you mean the long-life lithium backup battery for the corded 2-line GE 2-9421 (A indicating the sales region), that is a 3V Lithium battery. The part number 5-1923 appears to be a common CR2032 coin cell battery. These are used as backup batteries for Eraseable Programmable ROM on many devices, including computers.. One source is https://www.batteriesdirect.com/product/details/button-cell-batteries/ge/5-1923 . Any CR2032 from a reputable manufacturer will work.

I have an old land line phone and do not remember how to retrieve the voice messages. I downloaded the manual and it does not explain how to do it. Model # 26955GE1-A. Can anyone help me?

Mine does the same thing and I called GE for service. They said they could cover it under warranty if less than a year old. It is not! They told me to unplug the phone for the Elec, phone line and take out the battery for about 4 hrs. I did overnight and still have the flashing light to with the charging light.
Go buy a new one and return the old one in its place would be my suggestion.

go to radio shack or local dollar store and take batterie with you get the clerk to find you a new $3.00 - $10.00 batterie
take the batterie home place it in phone plug it in to phone replace cover over batterie place phone on charger after 4-5 hours on the charging cradle try to use it if it works

Hi, replacing the cmos battery is quiet easy, just take off the side cover you will see a round lithium battery on the motherboard, take it out, find the same model of lithium battery and just pop in the new one and its all done, you usally get 3 of the batterys for about £5..

You need to dismantle phone and replace Varta CR1/2AA 3Volt lithium battery. Dismantling is easy enough but you MUST lay out the screws etc so they go back in the right place, particularly the one with the two nylon washers underneath the head.
