This TV has failing capacitors in the chasiss. Mitsubishi may help cover the repair. Or try to reset it and it may take depending on how worn out the caps are

Please check the installation, the lamp door is not placed correctly or still open. this is causing the door micro switch to stay open. take out every thing and put it back exactly the wat it was before you changed the lamp. it is slso easy to by pass this switch if required.

Mitsubishi model WD-52725 has a fast blinking timer light on constantly and tv will not power up. Tried unplugging and resetting with no success. Now What?
It sounds like you need to replace the lamp for your TV unit. Also don't forget to replace the lamp use hours timer otherwise the TV unit will not recognize a new lamp has been installed. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Wd-52725 had blue screen no picture or sound ,timer light solid green , pushed reset black screen timer flahing green then red light for bulb status, replaced bulb black screen green flashing timer for two...
you may be on the incorrect input channel. look for an input or tv video button and choose each input until u get a picture

Have a 52 inch Mitsubishi TV. Just replaced the
Call Mitsubishi the chassis needs to be rebuilt on this set they have been paying for the parts but you will have to pay the labor.

If the lamp light turns red and the set wont power up put the V26 Power repair kit in and that should take care of it. The kit contains the capacitors and detailed instructions on CD

My Mitsubishi WD52725 will not turn on...the timer light is blinking. We pushed the reset button, unplugged tv. Just got off the phone with Mitsubishi customer "service." After answering numerous personal questions, and being on hold for several minutes, I was told that the only solution was to push the reset button. Duh! We'd done that several times with no change, which is why I called them! BIG WASTE OF TIME!!!!
