Hi there got a digimax s800 - have lost my booklet - trying to delete some photos and it keeps flashing card locked and wont let me delete - how do i solve this cheers

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

SOURCE: memory card is locked

There is a small tab (like a very small hole with a sliding piece of plastic) on the corner of the memory card. Slide it to unlock it :)

Check the side of your media device, it will be locke.

Slide the little switch to the unlock position.

Is the memory card inserted??if yes try to check the memory card on the pc. Maybe the card was wasted or corrupt.So you can see the previous pictures before the mmc corrupted, And it cant be deleted.

If No. try to reformat the unit by pressing menu and settings. After formatting,,click reset for defaulting settings..

Ive got a Samsung Digimax L70 and I have been trying to clear the actual camera's memory. I have uploaded photo's from the SD card but 400 or more photos remain on the camera and I just can't access them...
Wow! You have 400 pics on the internal memory. That must be some huge internal memory. Anyway, to delete them, remove the card from the camera...go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

Have lost all my photos from my samsung digimax v800 camera card
I have had success with this... Download the photo recovery program
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.
