Will only record 1 channel

My recorder is 1 day old everything works except that it will only record Channel 5

    Thank you for the reply,Im pretty certain the channels are saved OK I can see them in the recorder...thats why I cannot understand why it only records just one channel out of the 5 land based channels we have here .....if they are not saved why are they showing as saved ? I have wondered if the recorder is faulty or not as I say its just 1 day old...

    Just to let you know that I finally found the answer to the problem...it was an error on my part when I set up the clock,I set it to 2007 instead of 2008 lol, everything works fine now thank you for your helpful suggestions ....best wishes and take care ...Bob

Hello..please refere to your user manual...and choose the chapter of installing tv-channels...you can use "autostore" and when search is finished and saved..you can sort your channels to the correct program position.......please tell me how it went...good luck...Ron

    hello..do you have something called a favorite list or somethjing like that..? because i think you can watch one channel and record another...and if it is set to record a favorite channel then you can possibly still watch another thinking that's what you are recording..please let me know ..but refer to your user manual...good luck ...Ron

Logik recorder - error message - cannot schedule recording, there is already a timer at the same time on this channel. turned the box off at the wall & retuned. Any suggestions? Thank you. x
check programmed recordings you will have a clash possibly in time and date on another channel. If the dvd records two channels at once normally check if it has two channels already set up at the same time to record i the scheduled recordings.
you may have two different channel positions that are the same tv station and have set up two different channels to record the same show. and then you may be trying to record another different channel at the same time. check and delete extra channel schedule.

Another way to have this is as an example say programmed record at channel nine f0r show 1 at 7:30 to 8.35 day xyz and then you set up show 2 to record at channel nine say from 8:30 to 9.35.day xyz this will use two time frames during the overlap from 8:30 to 8:35 on day xyz and if you decide to record a third show you can't between the overlap time frame

I can record on one side only, if I try to record on
It's a 4-channel recorder. That's four recorded channels in the same direction. You COULD use it like a standard 2-channel stereo recorder with bi-directional playback if you recorded only the front tracks. THAT would produce a 1/4-track stereo tape with two sides (directions).

In the photo, the front and back are clearly marked.

New TV won't ''talk to'' old VCR
using the magnovox remote, reprogram the vcr's channels. set it up to use cable not air. when the vcr was unlugged it lost it's channel memory. don't buy new cables, you're getting a picture and sound so that means your rca cables are ok.

Record a digital channel while watching and analog channel
Take a red, white, and yellow AV cable and plug it from the AV out of the cable box to the red, white, and yellow In of the dvd recorder (change cable box to the channel you want to record). Then change your TV to the channel you want to view.

Dmr-es10 dvd recorder - cant get the machine to record digital channels form tv
Channels 1-5 are I believe for Analogue reception. To record from my digital Freeview box, I'm plugged into SCART port 2 (bottom most port on right hand side of machine as you look at it from the front). Use your remote to change the channel to A2 with the <CH> rocker button just above the video+ button on the controller. This will then record whatever channel your freeview box is set to - the only pain is you can't watch a separate channel whilste recording.
