Sounds like it is running out of fuel. Maybe a bad fuel pump, or clogged filter. If it is carbureted, a stuck float valve or clogged float valve might be the problem.

your not getting fuel threw the carb see if it is getting to the carb by removing the hose next check for power to the solenoid on the bottom of the carb a bad safety switch will shut it off they aslo stick from having bad fuel remove it clean it and check it for movement with power and ground
if you have the manual at hand, put key in ignition and turn to the on and off position fast as you can and then push button. it should not rrespond because thats resets the alarm, follow manual on how to reprogram! hopes it helps out. there should be a way in the settings of the brain that lets you pick a longer cranking time. idk exactly how to do it but if you look in the manual that came with it or go on the web site or call the company they should be able to help you
I've wired several of these and you have likely hooked up the wires wrong its not giving power to the right wires at the bottom of your steering column...........re check your connections on your truck there are 3 wires that need power for the starter to work they are the orange,pink and brown hope this helps!
