There are some capacitors on the main boardthat are low quality. You can
buy a capacitor repair kit on Ebay that contains a set of capacitors to
replace the offending ones - about 15-16 bucks. I soldered in the new
capacitors and the TV has worked perfectly since.
Flashing green light usually indicates the TV is need of repair. This is the TV's way of letting you know that its needs to be fixed by your local tv repair shop or to contact your tv manufacture. Hope this helps.
power supply board may have bad capacitors look at them and see if the top of caps are raised if so they can be replace but i would get a new board if you do not know how to replace them
Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.
I had the same exact problem.
I removed the bulb and cleaned it. There is a small screen at the top of the bulb and it was covered with dust. Once it was cleaned I replaced the bulb and it solved the problem.
Thanks to those who posted the solutions
