It's possible that there may be an issue with the lid switch on your washer. The lid switch is a safety feature that prevents the washer from spinning if the lid is open. If the switch is malfunctioning, it may not be allowing the washer to spin during the final cycle.
One way to check if the lid switch is the issue is to try manually bypassing it. You can do this by locating the switch on your washer (it's usually located near the lid hinge) and then disconnecting the wires that connect it to the washer's control panel. Once the wires are disconnected, you can use a jumper wire to connect the two wires that were previously connected to the switch. This will effectively bypass the switch, and if the washer now spins during the final cycle, you know the switch is the issue.
If the lid switch isn't the issue, there may be a problem with the washer's control board. In this case, it may be best to consult a professional for repairs.
May be the motor carbon brushes are worn. This is usually a cheap repair 10 or 20 pounds if u can do it yourself , but disconnect from mains , take out motor , remove , replace carbon brushes, ( some motors don't have them) you can understand what I mean, my advice is estimate from local dealer but dont get conned with new motor ( I think its carbon brushes only) . pete
it may be the carbon brushes on the motor worn down, may need to replace, ideally the black carbon brush needs to more than 10mm if less the brush are struggling to have contact with the armature of the motor
im not up to speed with the codes. BUT if you are able to open the door this suggests the bulk of the water has pumped away, so I suspect motor or belt problems. Can you hear the motor spinning when it should be? ie on spin cycle. If not suspect carbon brushes in motor, or even a broken/burned out wire to motor. Replace belt if broken
indesits dont have carbon brushes they have a module which controls everything to your tomer if this is faulty or your timer then its not worth doing too much in money to replace get a hoover or candy same machine just ones the uk model and the other is the us model dont go for hotpoint though because indesit own hotpoint now and there changing the carbon brushes to modules which is a big mistake alot dearer to replace then the carbon brushes but maybe thats why there doing so customers have to buy another washer check the price by going to indesit customer support web site but i always keep customers away from indesit due to that module some hotpoints are still the carbons but some arent cheaper to buy a slight damaged from a washer repay shop they usually have damaged at a fraction of the price save at least £125 per washer or buy a repossed one may off been used at the most 10 times nothing wrong with them and you will save £200 plus m8
