The 120 Watt lamp is probably losing High pressure Sodium and will need to be replaced. Lamp Code BP96-00826A (P120W) Would be the first thing to replace.

You had a surface mounted capacitor (AKA "CAP") let go on one of the circuit boards, open the set up and look for a small burnt area on the circuit boards inside the TV, it is likely it will be the power supply board, but that is just a guess..

You have to activate the closed caption option on your charter cable box. Power off your cable box and immediately push the menu button. A menu should appear where you can toggle captioning on/off. Good luck!
