How long have you had your dock and batt.?
They might be in a need of a change.
Here are the steps:
1. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
2. Turn on your camera without the memory card.
:) I hope it works out. Unfortunantly even rechargeble batt. and chargers die on us once in a while. Nothing lasts forever. I should know my laptop just suffered the blue death. Unfortunantly a lot more expensive than a battery death. Next time you are on the market buying a camera. Try and choose a camera with the manufacturers batteries so the set comes with the battery and charger. All the best

Have had the dock a number of years - bought it with the CX6330, then bought the adapter when I got the C875. The CX 6330 has always seemed like a better camera - held charge longer, etc., but I wanted the newer one... Both have had original batteries, but I just bought new ones and installed and charged the ones in the 875. I did what you suggested, and so far, it's working, but it always does this, right after I've taken it off the charger. Then it dies in a matter of minutes. I'll let you know.
But the charger still works with the CX6330, and that camera and battery are much older. Of course, that is the camera that the dock came with. Could the adapter be the problem? (the one I have to put on to charge the C875)
good idea - thanks!
