The battery ran out today, now when i try to charge it, it just flashes on and off quickly displaying the lg logo

My handset ran out of charge and when i had recharged it and tried to power up my phone, it went to the flashing samsung logo and wont go past it. I tried taking the battery out for an hour, replaced it and powered on again and its still sticking at the samsung logo. Can it be fixed. help me sir.....

to solve this problem. Remove battery from phone keep aside then connect charger to phone and power on let the phone display a battery with an ! mark over it then remove charger and replace battery and switch on. You are done. ([email protected])

Let it charge for 30min or more. Then try to power it on, if this doesnt work the power button might be broken or tight. Try to check if power button has gotten tighter or does it work at all.

I bet you got help and fixed it already, but I had the same problem. Just before it stopped working, I dropped it in a puddle by a curb and I thought that killed it. I didn't realize that my battery was dead! That was it, so charge it!

try removing the sd card if its larger then 2GB, or try taking out the battery and puting it in again, turn fone off first. hope it works.

I'm having the same problem! It started today again. I've have this problem on and off for a while. Then all of a sudden the phone works fine. Try removing the battery...let it sit for a bit, then try to turn it on. Its worked for me before but is not working today. Sorry, I know how frustrating it is!

This maybe because you have run the battery down.
Plug it in and give it time to get enough charge and hopefully it will find a signal.

Hello, my friend had the same problem with his LG. He talked with the dealer who told him the battery was "dead". They had to "push" some electrical-shock into the battery, then it worked and the battery charged normally again=). Talk with the phone's dealer for help=) Good Luck! Regards, David.

I had the same issue with my KP500's screen flashing the logo.
The best way to resolve this is take it back to where you brought it from. They will send it off (which they did with mine) for a software upgrade and within a week you will have it back with no more issues and at no cost to you.

There is no quick fix solution. If you mess with the phone it voids your warranty.

Interesting, normally the screen only appears with water damage, which I am sure Verizons customer service has continued to tell you that is the cause without thinking the customer might not know for themselves, The only way to fix this is to got to a Verizon Wireless store and ask them to do what is called a software flash, now it may delete all your information on your device but at least it will work, if you need any more help with this let me know.
