Not sure if it will be this, but has the SD card got locked by accident? There is a little sliding button on the side of the card, which can be locked to protect the content. My camera shows the card as full if I accidentally lock the card. You can just slide it back again to unlock it. I never noticed the button was there until I accidentally knocked it while loading the card in and out of my PC to transfer the photos.
For Nokia - Please dont Fill the Memory Card.. Nokia 5250 has recommended Card slotmicroSD, up to 16GB but its ALWAYS BETTER to Use a 8GB card or lesser without filling in the memory. Always transfer the Photos/Videos to ur Laptop/Comp and Have a memory free Card.. Hope this helps..
Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
Try this....with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"....follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory of the camera. Then, insert your new card and do the "format" thing again to optimize the card for the camera. Then, all should work properly.
I may not be totally understanding the question but from the numbers you supplied I'd have to say the memory card was full and could not save any more mb to the card. It might be at the point where it's not showing a "FULL" message on the screen but full enough that it can't take anymore pictures. Another thing is there is always space used by the memory card (operating system) that requires space so out of a 1gig memory card you only get about 950mb of storage space. If you are missing pictures it is possible that they are in the camera internal memory.
Because you phone memory may be full and you should change you settings to your memory card...to store all your data on memory card,...instead of phone memory..
can mean that the memory card is locked. take out the memory card and check for a lock slide at the sides of the card that you can adjust to a lock and unlock position, then test the card again.
try ( * + '3' + 'call button') hold this three keys and power up ur mobile without simcard dont leave the button untill u get the countries name for further details.be sure to save or backup data saved in your phone and memory card. this format will remove each and every file saved in your phone memory or memory card which cannot be restored if deleted once..
change the optional memory to memory card as the phone memory is filled completely.generally messaging uses the phone memory to operate.Messaging->options->settings->other and change the memory is use to memory card.that should solve the problem. This problem is certainly not with the memory card.hope this helps you out.
