I Bought a Samsung HD745 DVD Player(from a Local ''Cash in a Dash'' Shop in Kendal,Cumbria. where I Live-together with a Wharfedale DIP95 IPOD/CD Player etc for my Partner`s 50th Birthday in January of this Year(But had bought it before Christmas). It states on the receipt that the DVD Player has 28 Days Warranty & The Guy of the Shop said He checks everything that comes into the Shop. It was Only Recently that We had the DVD Player on for the First Time-''To Watch ''Michael Jackson`s ''This is it'' DVD-which keeps on sticking in aprts throughout the ''This is it'' DVD. My Partner & I need to obtain an Instruction Book.Manual for this Samsung DVD Player & Also need to obtain Details of a Samsung/DVD Player Technician(Locally), Many Thanks-from Miss L. Greenough(at) [email protected].

Hi, This may sound silly but check that there are NO blemishes( read fingerprints) on the disc surface as just about every player I know of will take execption to these - clean disc again just to be sure.
While you say the staff member has checked the unit, they dont always give them a "soak test" and often these types of fault go unnoticed. verify with another known disc to be sure and if the problems still exists, then you may have a temperamental or aged unit.
Please note - there are many pieces of s**t out there so best buy a new unit of a reputable brand when it comes to this kind of technology.

Try Googling the make and model number and watch a huge list of postings about it! Try the official Wharfedale site for help, these companies often offer PDF copies of their products you can look at (or print sometimes). Don't get caught by sites that want to charge you for this.

Confusion connecting my receiver to the RCA255 dvd receiver for cd use
Ok is your cash converters purchase a RCA, RTD255 system or is the RCA255 you quote something else, I'll assume that we are dealing with the first, and that seems to be a All in one system that contains speaks amp etc

You also have your new AVR 310 which is amplifier that one would connect a stand alone DVD/CD player to, You wouldn't connect the cash converter purchase to it, it is a seperate system.

You could use your cash converter system alone without the AVR310 but not with it.

Jvc kd-bt11 will not turn on
Its is definitely the extra wire, i had this problem and took it to a shop the power wire has to be ran from the battery with a fuse in between them, you can find a live wire in the dash and splice and put a fuse between them, if you dont feel confident, i would take it to a local shop i did the same thing and they installed for 40$ but i had all of the hardware and the radio was already in the dash just needed power

Hi, sorry to have break it to you but your self diagnosis was correct! It is a 'normal' DVD player that upscales and will NOT play HD discs.

I don't think j-Link cable capable of video, at least not with the first generation Ipod Ready Units anyway. Check with your local stereo shop if there is a way to they should know. Please keep me update. Thank you.
