well i just got a new computer and its the New "IMac" and the songs that i try to put on the player dont work... the songs on the player but it wont let you listen to it.. its it becasue of the format... its a mp4 or somthing like that ha
Try this: Plug the player into the usb port. Go to my computer find your player and right click. Go to format and left click this erased every thing from my mpc854 so I could start over. Then I found I was creating a lot of different problems with my player by not removing it safely. In the lower right hand corner of your screen there should be a little gray thing with a green arrow above it. Left click it and then click remove safely. It seems to have been one these things I did to myself. But now it is working fine. I guess that is how we learn.
Try plugging the unit directly into the computer tower and not use the extension cable, plug it directly into one of the rear ports on your computer. This unit actually hardly ever breaks because its a simple flash drive.
Dbl click on "my computer" desktop icon and see what you have listed before you hook it up then dbl click again after you hook it up,,,see if there is anything new listed there,,,if so then that should be the MP3 even though it may not say MP3.Mine says Mass Storage. If its there then just double click that drive and you should be able to drag and drop.
is your computer had a memoryddr of 512? or lower?
I'll advice with this but don't know if it will work.
on the right side there are some application image. close the ones you can close then try to plug your mp3 player.
WMP is a windos codec. try to download registry mechanic to fix your problems. and it will make your computer faster. ( if it will work on your pc but have a try).
if you can't find any registry mechanic.
I'll send you the installation though.
