I have got sennheiser MM100 bluetooth headphones. It was working properly but from today i am not able to switch it on and its not getting charge also. Can anyone tell me waht can be the problem ??
Yes I had the same problem. Under some circumstances the MM100 freezes (didn't figure out when just yet). It's a software issue inside. Solution: open left speaker (the side with the charge connector and hence the battery). Discharge the battery (or just short circuit for half a second) and it works again. Sennheiser should built a reset button on these things.
can u explain the best way to 'short circuit' the battery plz?
Mate, you were right! I just fixed my MM100 using your advices! Thanks!
Today I had the same problems. I went of the bluetooth range and unfortunately the MM100 freezes when I came back to the player.
I opened the left earphone and did a short circuit with a small wire (actually a small resistance should be the best and safe for it) and the problem was fixed.
Yes, Seenheiser should implement a reset function e.g. by pressing a certain button scheme.
Thanks a lot!
Hi! I've fixed already my headphones that way (short circuit).
I've fixed it with a sharp knife. Make a "safe" cut between the two battery terminals (They are protected with a film). With my method you don't need to remove the film. Just make a cut and the knife make the short circuit. If the knife is sharp, the film remains perfect.

After a week of use my MM 100 is dead. I just turned it off and then could not turn it on. The LED indicator does not flashes anymore, even when charging. It's very frustrating. If anyone has experienced this problem, an advice would be very appreciated. Thanks!
shorting the battery, particularly a Lithium-Ion type is NEVR a good idea! I suggest to unsolder on lead if indeed required.
I've had the same problem and will try the fix. Don't waste your time calling Sennheiser for technical support.
It works! Thanks
Yipee!! It works flawlessly, mate. In desperation, I was about to buy new one. Thanks to you, mexmnemonics I owe you some bucks. you're a genious.:))) Cheers!
sorry, genius!:) Let me add a few words! Actually,It's a very simple method. 1)disassemble the left speaker using a screw driver 2) remove the power jack circuit board, don't need to touch the battery! 3) just short circuit( touch it lightly for half a second) two soldered joints on the other side of the power jack circuit board using the screw driver! 4) you should see the the LED light, 5) It's done. Just enjoy yourself!:)
Kim your method works just fine, thanks a lot for both of you
Thanks. It worked for me too.
WELL DONE AND THANKS!
worked like a dream for me too. thanks!
Figured mine were dead, randomly, because they've kicked around for years and years. Rainy day, googled it, hit this answer, 15 minutes later, back working and re-charging. Excellent! Thank you.

Can anybody write a detailed instruction how to make a short circuit. I live in a country where i have no cervice centres or repairement service.
Just make it short :D (From Georgia with love)
I tried the short fix and it still isn't working. I may have another problem. bad battery perhaps.
@Ksovreli, "Short Circuit" means A low-resistance connection between two points in an electric circuit through which the current tends to flow rather than along the intended path. A short circuit can damage the circuit by overheating. In simple words it means making a connection between the 2 wires that are running in/out.
