Pull cord getting stuck

Pull cord is getting stuck on pressure washer. It started fine but suddenly stopped. When I try to pull the cord to start it again it has a difficult time turning the engine. It is extremely hard to pull and sometimes gets stuck so I can't pull it at all. I have checked the oil level which is fine. I thought maybe it ran out of oil and the engine seized but that doesn't seem to be the case unless somehow the oil isn't getting to the engine.
Any advise appreciated.
Thanks!
Jon

Pull cord is completely hard to pull. Pressure washer stopped running and the pull cord is locked.

After starting, why did it run for 45 seconds then bogged down and stopped?

Your problem is your carburetor. You will have to remove the carburetor and service it.

Go on you tube .com search " how to clean a 4 cycle carburetor"

Once you do this your unit should start fine.

Always depress the lever on the wand whengine starting a pressure washer... then pull the rope... makes life a ton easier

My recoil starter won't pull out it is stuck

Just take the cover bolts for the pull cord off. Then see if it works. There are usually two cogs that engage into the shaft of the engine. These cogs push outward when you pull the cord, engaging the shaft of the engine.

Pulley is stuck how do you resolve problem?

Pulley ? What pulley?
If you mean the recoil starter pull cord is stuck it might be a simple fix. Did your machine tip over on its side?
If it did oil often flows into the cylinder. Just remove the spark plug. The recoil cord should pull easily and oil will spurt out the spark plug opening. Pull until oil stops coming out. Check your oil level. Replace your spark plug and see if she starts.

Pull start won't pull. Engine was running then stopped. Now the pull cord won't extend

First. Turn off the water....Release all of the pressure off of the hose and pressure washer. Try and pull again. If it still won't pull check to see if there is oil in the engine. The engine may have locked up.

I try to pull the rip cord but it just gets stuck and i cant start it how do i fix it

IF YOU HAVE BEEN USING THE PRESSURE WASHER AND THEN TURNED IT OFF,THERE WILL STILL BE PRESSURE IN THE HOSE.YOU WILL NEED TO SQUEEZE THE TRIGGER ON THE GUN WHILE YOU START THE ENGINE.

My pressure washers does not start.

Will it start if you pour a small amoum of gas in the carb? If so, carb float needle probably stuck closed.

Engine will not turn-over. It is a Honda 11 HP, OHV on a Karcher Pressure Washer. It was running fine for about 45 minutes. All of a sudden it stopped. When I tried to start it again, the engine is bound...

1) Disconnect the garden hose and pressure hose to the pump. This will ensure there is not a pump pressure load on the engine.
2) Remove the spark plug, check it's color. Brown/Dark Brown is OK. Silver/Aluminum coating, engine is siezed.
