Lg 9100 keybo i cant figure out a symbol showing on my phone , its in between the sd card symbol and the music symbol. it looks like 2 texts symbols, but there not. almost looks like a letter on top of another

Yes, you need an SD card to transfer your pictures. When you do, you sync your pictures from your phone onto the SD card. The next time you plug it in, your pictures should be in the MY_PICTURES folder. Hope this helps!

Try putting it into the MY_SOUNDS folder.

If the music is loaded correctly, all you have to do is the hit the music button and select either "All Songs" or "Shuffle". The phone automatically loads songs on the SD cards.

Hiya, my wife has the same phone.. everything works and the way to get your mp3's as a ringtone is what I found easier to do like my LG dare.. which is to edit, compress the mp3 file and send it via text attachment from your vzpix account to your phone, from there you can save the attachment and modify it's use on your phone as a ringtone. Aloha!

just insert in the usb driver and it will automatically inserted

look for a freeware program on the net called "Switch"
amazing program
google it and its there.
it converts almost any auido to basically any audio you wish.
only downside i have come across is that the keybo cant handle some of the translated songs,
for example: a few of my tunes sound slowed down about 10bpm
not the worst but 90% of wma's turn out fine mp3's on the keybo
and 100% of wma's turn out great mp3's with the program,

I have a Keybo 2 phone so I assume the procedure is the same for the first generation Keybo.

1) First of all, only MP3 format works, period. Don't waste time trying to load WMA or any other music format.

2) Get a micro SD card as this opens up other features of the media functions

3) Using the USB cable, connect your phone to the computer and there should be 2 file browsers that will show up: one for the internal memory and the other for the external memory (micro SD).

4) On the external memory browsing window you should find a MY MUSIC folder. Copy all your MP3 music files into this folder.

5) Unplug the USB cable and open your phone's music player. It will detect the new songs and build update the library.

There you go, you're all set! It took me a couple of hours of searching and tryouts but this works every time. Good listening!

There's 2 ways that you cn listen to music in your Lg Keybo.

1-Download songs from the Internet cell phone
2-Buy a Micro SD card and put all your song onto the card, and plug-in the card into the phone.

i had the same problem with my LG 9100 but now i relized the reason that it did not connect to your computer is because you need a memory card ( micro SD ) i picked one up at walmart you can get a 2g for 15$ or you can get 1g for 7$ your better off getting the 2g like myne now it goes into my computer no problem. hope this helped any questions email me [email protected]
