Ignition coil spark is weak. And where can i find

coleman 6250, AC power generator gas. 10HP WX 6250???
does it matter with 2 pins, no.
I just sold one , last week.
100% perfect.
and have full documents on it. i came with manual new in box and wiring and parts list there, lost the manual did you already?
the one switch on most gens is SPST , 2 PIN SWITCH.
IT JUST KILLS SPARK..

The coil makes the spark. If it's weak the coil's secondary winding is bad. Replace the coil.

First check your oil level. The low oil sensor kills the ignition to protect the engine from damage.

Second, replace the spark plug.

this can be caused by a weak battery check battery and charging system to verify a good working system. it could also be a weak coil not being able to supply enough output voltage for the ignition system. you don`t say if its weak coming out of the coil or at the plugs. if spark is weak at the plugs it could be a bad cap/rotor, ignition wires. it could also be an ignition module problem or pick-up coil in the distributor.

if the ht leads to the plugs is separate to the coil/s replace the leads
they are carbon cored and fail with super high resistance causing weak spark

You bought a new ignition coil, how far from the flywheel was it mounted? Did you replace the spark plug?

Swap the coil with one of the other coils. If you still have weak spark out of that tower than replace the coil. If you have strong spark once swapped and the other coil tower now has w eak spark replace the module.

Fresh Fuel
Clean carburetor if stored with fuel in the tank and wasn't shut off
Clean fuel filter
Clean air filter
Proper oil level
Clean spark plug (just replace it, it is easier and faster)

check wiring most likely loose wiring, happens when your generator viabrates

Hello . If you have a weak spark it could be the ignition coil that needs adjustment or a bad ignition coil . To find the ignition coil simply follow the spark plug wire . To readjust the coil get a piece of paper , loose the bolts on the coil and put the paper between the coil and the flywheel (higher part of the flywheel or magneto) tight the bolts and remove the paper .
Check for spark . If still a weak spark just replace the ignition coil .
