If the pump does not work when power is applied separately, you may find, upon disassembly, that the impeller has disintegrated.

SOURCE: Hi, I have an LG washing machine(WD1485RD) and it

There is an air pressure switch that starts and stops certain cycles by measuring the water level.

It could be that switch is bad, but more likely the timer is failing and not moving forward when the water level switch closes.
If you unplug the washer, remove the water hoses and pull it out you can pull the side of the washer off and check the water level switch with a volt/ohm meter. It's a double switch with a common wire connected to a plastic tube that connects to the side of the drum. If you blow into the plastic hose that goes to it you should hear it click and the ohms on that side of the switch should be zero. Then quit blowing and it should click again and the other side resistance go to zero.
If the switch is good, then the timer is probably failing.also check the drain pump hose if its got bit low then regular then it can also be the other possibility/.

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation

Hello, LG LD 14AT1 dishwasher, starts cycle runs 3 minutes, starts stops on off no water in bottom. Then displays OE chimes! Checked tap under sink water there, checked filter inside bottom, turned off for...

Hi

OE in your dishwasher is a drain error and dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. If the issue returns after cleaning then the drain pump assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

LG dishwasher mode# 3850dd3006a is not draining water.

Hi

Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller.

Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat.

Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Washer dose not dran water

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
First, please check the drain hose and drain pump filter for any blockages and make sure it is not clogged with foreign particles. You can also check the drain pump to verify that its working. Take out three screws from the bottom access panel and then clean the drain pump filter, if the problem is back then replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

My LG Tromm front load washing machine gives me an OE error. Referring to a drain problem. What should I be looking for/

HI, check the following to address this issue.

1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).

2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.

**The most common issue will be an obstructed hose or, line

Answer
Make sure that drain hose and drain filter are not bent or clogged. In case of there are objects in the drain filter, It might drain to slow or not at all. HOW TO CLEAN THE DRAIN FILTER 1. Allow the washer to cool down before cleaning the drain pump filter. 2. Open the lower cover cap with a tool such as coin. 3. At this time use a catch pan to prevent water from flowing onto the floor. Unplug the drain plug, allowing the water to flow out. When water does not flow any more, turn the pump filter open to the left. 4. Remove any foreign objects from the pump filter. After cleaning, turn the pump filter clockwise and insert the drain plug to the original place. Close the lower cover cap. If the drain filter is not clogged, you will need to call LG Customer Service at 800-243-0000.
