    Only had my 265 a Couple of months The SSC Utilty Doesn't Support this printer and had a problem with my inks

    i have two red lights on my epson r265 i need to reset the ink counters if you have the fix it would be a great help thanks

    continuous ink system but some inks show half full although all bottles are full how do i reset ???

Solution, do not go to the rec site as the software is not there
however there are hundreds of other progs which are very usefull indeed

My printer says service is required is there epson r265
If you are getting the message printer neeeds a service I suggest you get your ink pads cleaned straight away before your printer locks on you Two alternating flashing lights
You need a service utility for the R265 to reset it. you can find one of these on the net free of charge some people are selling them for a fiver but why buy what you can get free if you have problems or need

How do i reset my r265 printer
You need the ssc service utility you can get one free of the net or email me at [email protected] and I will send it to you
If your ink pads are full I suggest that you have them replaced because if they get to full your printer will lock out. To get the ink pads replaced you are supposed to take it to a service station and it costs about £50 or you could try doing it yourself need any more help contact me

Sending text messages takes too long
out of curiosity,
what kind of sidekick was it?
and also, have you tried to give it a soft reset, yet? if not, then press it all keys down ( @ + 1 +0 ) without the + part.
and let me know its fixed.
if not, then you will have to force to do a master reset. (and yes, you will lose everything for a while. but, no worries, everything will come back in a fews as everything is in dangers backend sever as always, except, text parts)
here how: -press all the keys down at once ( @ 1 0) without quotes -when you see all 4 keys button come up on the screen, hold down the "R" and dont let it go until  you see the screen come on, let the "R" go and it will reboot once again. -and wait until everything come back and then try again to send yourself a text and see if its been sent sucessful.

i think you should check with your mobile provider and see if they have the pic msgin' activated on your phone.and if yes then they need to fix the problem.
