You have two sides to the water control valve and it is most likely the dispenser side of your WR57X10051 Dual Water Inlet Valve I will be here should you have more questions, Thanks Sea Breeze


WR57X10051 Dual Water Inlet Valve

THere is a plastic "hub" at the back of the bucket which attaches to the auger. THE "hub" catches a "fork" like device at back of ice maker which turns. The "fork" turns and in turn is supposed to turn the auger. That plastic hub could be torn up, broken, jammed, or otherwise not working correctly. That is what is wrong with mine.

Fill tube may have frozen

I would try putting water in ice maker if it freezes ice maker is ok if so feplace water valve. careful only 4oz. of water in ice maker

Ice maker bad or the ice maker water valve mounted on the same bracket as the dispenser is bad. These frigs are prone to bad ice makers after a few years.

You can possibly burn out the solenoid valve. There is an off position on the ice maker itself and possibly a switch to turn the power off to the IM.

Check the ice maker see it is in the right position, maybe you can try pull out the ice maker and clean it and push it back, make sure the position is right.
