I went to another tech site and saw a suggestion to unplug the TV for a couple hours and then plug back in to see if this helped, but they also indicated this could be a serious power problem. I was really concerned, but tried it and it worked! I think it was running some kind of diagnostics after the new lamp was placed. Back up and running!

This 100 times flash or irregular sequence of flash denotes a common internal error. Most of the times, this is indicative of faulty power board. Repair is prudent. If you have electronics repair experience, could read schematics and would be able to keep all precautions, i would be glad to provide you a link to purchase service manual and could provide you few pointers unless tech is recommended in these problems.

To reset the tv to factory/ default settings, please follow below procedure.
Turn On the TV, while holding down Up Arrow on the remote control, press Power button on TV, tv will turn itself Off then back On again, release Up Arrow on remote control.
This procedure will reset all settings in tv to default settings.
Problem seems with lcd panel and I'm afraid it does not seems to get solved by resetting tv however try to reset tv by above said procedure.
