I have a CHPC-ADP Energizer charger (brand new). What does it mean when the LED's on both modules flash red and then green, red and then green........?
If your charging 2 batteries only they must be palced in the following poistions on the charger
1. both side by side in the 2 left slots
or
2. one each in the two right slots.
Otherwise the batteries will not charge.

If the batteries are charging the battery indicators
Testimonial: "You sussed it. Thankyou very much."
My error, I did not see 8 batteries in the original post.
Here is the one for the 8 battery charger.

Note the positions in the manual that the batteries have to be placed in for charging. Wrong positions = no charging.
Thanks again for using FixYa,

Hi again, Hopefully this is not the 3rd post onthe same topic. I did not see the rmoset recent solution I posted on the 8 battery charger so if this is a duplicate sorry.
I did not see 8 pattery charger in your original post and there are 2 charges that match the category. I chose to pass one of the 2 which happened to be the wrong one. My error for improper interpetation of the original post.
Here is the manual for your 8 battery family charger.

The RED LED will come on if you first install the batteries and then plug it in. You should plug it in first then install the batteries to prevent the RED LED from coming on.
Kelly .
Let me clarify that the RED LED will be on until the charging cycle is complete. So install batteries. Plug in unit.... RED and Green LED's lite until cycle is complete at which time the RED LED goes out.

Just an FYI, but if both the RED and GREEN LEDs are flashing, there is a problem with one or more of the batteries and they may need to be replaced. By switching batteries around you can determine the problem ones and replace.

I was charging 8xAA batteries and the link you supplied is for a different charger.
Hmmmmm, i kinda sussed that one already. But thankyou anyway. I read somewhere that if there's a problem with one of the batteries the charger will show a red and green led. Are you able to confirm this for me? Thanks.
