FLICKERING BACK LIGHT

The cables could either be loose or need to be replaced for your TV or the connection ports are broken. The LED lights or the T conn board could be causing the TV screen to flicker.

The strobe effect is an indication of insufficient contact at either the positive terminal or negative terminal. Check terminals for a tension (pressure) against the batteries.

I've fixed several of these, easy fix, you will need to replace both 470uf 35 volt capacitors on the master and slave inverter boards. So you will have to replace a total of 4 capacitors. The capacitors themselves are about 50 cents a piece. The inverter boards are on the far left and far right of the set. You will have to remove the back cover to see them. If you don't have the ability to replace the capacitors, you can just order new inverter boards for $40-$60.

you need to remove the back cover of the tv to gain access the internal part. and then you need to look if their is a loose contact or dry joint connector at the power inverter board for the screen back light. if the connection is good then their is a flickering the back light is need a replacement.

It needs servicing. take it to a technician.

Hello, This is a sudden high voltage, it will require opening the television to check faulty component. First check for fuses in the printed circuit board and if found replace with same current rating. Also check other component such as the power transistor, resistor, rectifier with a multimeter set at ohms range

most likely it has a bad light engine.
a costly repair-something you cant do without a bit of experience.
