I have a Eureka True Hepa WhirlWind 12AMPS,Model #4380 type A-3.What type of belt do I buy for this model?

Look on the nameplate and it will tell you which belt too buy
(Probably a "U" belt)

Is there a belt for the Eureka 4388 B-2 Model"

Your Eureka Whirlwind model 4489 uses the Eureka Style U belt. There are several different U belts that Eureka makes, including a generic one that's made by Eureka under the Smart Choice name. Eureka also makes a Eureka Style U belt Extended Life, apparently increase the life of your Belt.

There are two filters for the this vacuum. The first goes behind the dump cup and there is a filter pack for that below.

The second filter goes in the back of the machine the part you need is below:

Remove the 4 screws on the yellow top of the vacuum. The yellow plate will pop up exposing the belt and roller.

You could have a clogged dirt path, a clogged hepa filter or a clogger pre filter.

It is either the filter or on the roller or belt.

I tried the website for manuals but no luck. I called the toll-free # 1-800-282-2886 and got a rep right away. I gave him the model and s/n (lower bottom on the back side) and he walked me thru it. For the model I have, there are 3 screws to remove - With the vacuum upright and standing facing it - there is on on the right and one on the left of the bottom cover and one on the left side near the hose intake. Remove those to get to the belt. I ordered the belt with him too - althought the belts were cheap ($2.99 for 2) the shipping was $8. If this didnt help - call the 800# - they were great.
