Frigidaire Affinity/dr error

I have a front loading Frigidaire Affinity washer, model #LTF6000ESI - 1 year old. I started a load of laundry and set the lock. The washer filled and the came the beeping and the dr code. I've cancelled the load, opened and closed the door, briefly unplugged and plugged it back in, and when I attempt to start all over, the dr code shows up. Everything else seems to be working. Is there a reset button? Also, if this is not an easily solved problem, is there anyway to get the washer to drain or will I just have to do it manually? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

    hi,
i have the same problem. the "dr" sign and beeping started after the wash and before the spin cycle. In this case does the "dr" indicate a drain problem?

I have the same problem, but CLEARLY if you read all the complaints about this machine, this is a universal problem and indicates a flawed part in the machine itself---computer chip?  Cheap door parts?  I don't know, but I do know I don't want to buy anything made by Fridgidaire again.

Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000E DR error code

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you are receiving a "DR" error code on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model ATF7000E. The "DR" error code is stating that there is a possible problem with the door. This could also be a possible false error code. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Hi, I recently purchased a 6 year old condo and

The result of cool water temperatures and milder detergents, is a buildup of oil and grease in the machine, which produces oily smells in the laundry. Grease and oil can take many forms, ranging from automotive lubricants to greasy foods to oily toiletry items, and, over a period of time, these oils can accumulate and become trapped in various parts of the machine, particularly in the door seal of front-loading machines.
Run an empty cycle with HOT water and a detergent that contains bleach to remove grease and oil from the appliance. However, be sure to use bleach designed specifically for laundry, as opposed to using regular bleach. ie OxyClean. and or a cup of vinegar.
Best to you.

Affinity frigidare front load washer won't start. It beeps with message flashing (DR)

Hello zabbster - Typically the DR or DO error code indicates that the door switch is not closed. Make sure that the door lock is completely closed. If the door is closed, make sure the door latch is not broken. If the latch is broken, you may possibly need to replace the door lock switch.

Says "dr", will not start

Hi,

The error clearly indicates bad door switch. Very simple to fix, have to take top off and loosen switch from front panel. Remove and replace.
Part #131763245 and suggested retail price $50.

Thank you
