Our AEG Favorit Sensorlogic has had no power to it for an indeterminable period of time - we recently moved into our new house to discover this. Now with power it appears to start up ends up with an intermittent beeping. When opened no water has been run through.
How can we get it to work, or does this need professional assistance.
If u just reinstalled mke sure you removed the blancking plug from the drain spigot . simple but happens a lot.
Open the lower front panel and locate where the water inlet hose is connected. Shut the water off under the sink, disconnect the hose at the water inlet solenoid, then put the loose end into a bowl or pan and turn the under-sink valve on slowly. Do you get water flowing from the hose? If so, then check the solenoid water inlet valve for damage. If the coil is ok, the valve part may be stuck closed. It should make a firm 'click' when the timer is set to start the machine (leave the hose loose). If it doesn't click, the coil may be bad, the valve may be stuck, or the timer is not sending 115 volts to the solenoid. Try a new valve first. If still no click, you may need the professional service. Good luck!
