Error code LE washer fills only doesnot spin or agitate

Your question does not make sense. You say it does not fill but then you say it will agitate. How can it agitate if no water has filled? Does it beep and give an error code/ If so what is the error?

aCTUALLY IT MAY BE THE LID SWITCH BUT iM THINKING ITS THE CAM DOGS OR IN G.E MODELS THE AGITATOR COUPLER AT THE BOTTOM IS BAD? ITS ABOUT 7 BUCKS TO REPLACE IT AND EASY

The LE code indicates a motor overload. The washer will not spin to avoid damaging the unit. First unplug the washer and let the motor cool for 30 minutes. When you plug in the washer, check if the unit has been reset.

The error often occurs if you use a non-HE detergent or too much detergent. In that case, do a Rinse and drain steps. Set the Spin Speed to No Spin by pressing that key several times. When that finishes, open the door and remove all of the clothes in the tub. Close the door and set the washer to Rinse and Spin. Run this program several times until you see no suds in the wash tub. If the LE code returns when the washer is empty, check the drain pump and filter for foreign objects. The error can also occur if you wash too many items at once or too heavy a set of items. Try doing a smaller load in the future.

If the error persists, then the tub motor, bearings, motor shaft or wiring may be damaged. With a digital volt meter you need to measure the ohms value of the hall sensor. It has 4 wires. White red blue and gray. With the meter set at 20k ohms check hall sensor at the control panel. From white to blue you should read 9.5 K ohms. Same with white to red. If u get 9.5k ohms on both readings u have a bad main board. However to me I think your pump is bad. LG washers will not spin if they don't drain.

look under the unit and see if the transmission solenoids are working..a wire may have dropped off..

Is this a FAV6800A LED console model or a FAV9800A LCD console model?

Make sure you magnet is properly in place its very touchy
