It is possible your flywheel has lost it's magnet strength, if you noticed it turn a blue. Can take off flywheel and replace with a good one. Or you can play with the gap on the magneto/coil, and insert a piece of paper between the coil and the flywheel magnets, to set for air gap.
Pull off the side cover where the cord is.Make sure the keyway in the flywheel is not broke and flywheel has not turned. If flywheel did not turn the timing is fine.Too set the air gap you have to loosen the screws on the magneto .Slip a piece of paper or metal that is .010 thick between magneto and flywheel and turn flywheel until magnet pulls magneto down.tighten screws and reinstall cover.
