Rotate the iTrip AutoPilot FM Transmitter controller so that its buttons are facing up and its data cable is on the left side. The data cable wires attach to a row of contact points along the left side of the circuit board as follows (from top to bottom):

1 = Purple
2 = White
3 = Blue
4 = Red
5 = Black
6 = Brown
7 = Green
8 = Yellow
9 = <unused>

I have a White Rogers programable thermostat I need to wire but my wires don't match up. The wires from my unit are blue, green, orange, white/blue band, white/green band

When you remove the wires from the old t-stat they should go to the same terminals you pulled them from. If R had an orange wire then the orange goes to R on the new t-stat. If that's not a good method, probably due to the style of old t-stat, then you need a tech. In order to wire it properly you will need to know what color wires are connected to what terminals inside the indoor unit. Normally inside the unit there will be R,G,W,Y,C where red-R, w-white, G-green, Y-to yellow or sometimes blue, and c-blue unless blue is used for the y circuit. We can use any color we want when wiring these units so honestly there's no way to give you a good answer. Work safe!!

I would like to know the order in which the colored wires are soldered to the circuit board?

Impossible to answer this question with so little detail. In general you follow the coding on the board, which should show what wire goes where, but that assumes the wires are not in any way energized with power at the time.

AIR CONDITIONER WIRES, WHERE DOES THE RED, GREEN AND WHITE GO

Hello, you fried the control board or fuse in the inside unit. Usually the wires will attach to the side terminals on the contactor coil, this is part of the contactor is 24 volts, L1 and T1 are high voltage terminals.

I have a jvc kdavx1 trying to hook up to a 2000 buick reagal need to know how the wires hook up

Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

2000 Buick Regal Car Stereo Install Diagram jvc kdavx1
Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Orange yellow
Radio Ignition Switched 12V+ Wire: Yellow red
Radio Ground Wire: Black/White black
Radio Illumination Wire: Gray/Black orange/white
Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Tan white
Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Gray white/black
Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Light Green gray
Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Dark Green gray/black
Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Brown green
Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Yellow green/black
Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Dark Blue purple
Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): Light Blue purple/black
parking brake: blue light green

For this last wire, access the back of the parking brake to find a switch with a blue wire. Peel some insulation from the wire and wrap the stripped end of a 3 foot piece of 16 or 18 gauge wire around the stripped section. Solder and wrap the connection with electrical tape, route the wire to the jvc, then strip and solder the other end to the pigtail of the head unit.

If you are also installing a camera seeing behind you when backing, you will need to run a wire to the back-up light on the driver side reverse light (light green) wire along with your video cable.

Avanti EWC-12 circuit board replacement (correction)

the green an yellow wire is a ground. Look for an area on the board with a ground symbol earth.gif. Can you not match the location from the old board???
Either way the black and red are your positive and negative power, while the third is the ground. The wire probably are located in close proximity to each other.
Let me know if this helps

I need wiring manual for goodman mini split.

outside unit L1 and L2 are load (input 240vac)
then you have control voltage, usually yellow and blue (24vac) this connects to some 18/2 thermostat wire which goes inside as white and red.

note: this unit may only need 24v control which is 2 wires from the inside unit and also 3 wires 2 hot 1 ground for line voltage.

STANDARD WIRING
on the inside unit you have green, white, blue and red control wires.

on your thermostat you have white, red, yellow and green

you run the wire from the outside unit to the inside unit. then run a 18/4 wire to the thermostat if wired and join the following wires.

inside unit thermostat outside unit
green------------------------green
white-------------------------white
red----------------------------red
blue-------------------------------------------------------blue
yellow--------------------yellow
