if it could make calls just download blackrain and jailbreak it if u like,, thats means yr phone is in dfu mode or uninstall itunes then reinstall it n connect
That is DFU mode. It's there for software upgrading/downgrading. If you can't get out of this mode, reloading the firmware from Itunes will release it.
Open up Itunes. Connect your IPhone. Select your IPhone in the left window frame. Press the "Check for Updates" button located in the summary frame. Click "Download and Install." Don't disconnect it while it's doing it's thing.
try hitting the restore key if it the iphone even shows up on the sidebar.. i had this problem sometimes exiting out of itunes and getting back in loads the iphone up on there but to fix your problem you need to restore your iphone. Right now it is deactivated.
you will need to do a forced restore on iphone to resovle the iphone passcode lost problem. but when you do a forced restore on iphone, you will wipe all content from the iphone. To do a forced restore hold the HOME button, then connect to the USB cable and continue holding for a LONG time (a minute or more). Once iTunes responds release the button and your iphone will be restored.
or you can try to plug it into iTunes with it at the unlock screen. Somewhere it should say “Unlock your iPhone” or something like that in iTunes. Click it. Otherwise do a restore by going to the screen where it shows how much memory you have used up in iTunes and click “Restore”. Restore it as a new device (not from back up) in iTunes. After that, you can just sync your media and apps back onto it.
Has it ever worked, as it sounds like it needs to be docked on I Tunes to 'unbrick it?'
If it is black background and white cable coming from bottom of screen then it needs to unlocked on I Tunes.
Download latest version of I Tunes from www.apple.com
Once I tunes is set up link I Phone to your computer (with I Tunes running) via the usb cable that came with your I Phone.
Follow prompts within I Tunes and this should get everything going.
