SOURCE: Proscan 40" LCD-Screen Freezes

They actually state that you have to unplug it and replug it in to fix this problem in the owners manual so it's not just a isolated issue. I to have this problem daily now and this is the 2nd set after returning the first one due to same reason.

I have the 26 Proscan tv and the power will not come on. There is no light and I have checked the circuit box and everything is fine with that. Help! this tv is less than a year old.

This requires the help of the service center to thoroughly test the unit and determine the problem You can find customer support for PROSCAN at this website. No picture or sound. MODEL #19LA20Q

The faint light indicates that there is not enough power being provided to the other circuitry as well the humming sound is a good indication that the power supply needs ot be replaced or repair. If your TV is less then a year old, still under manufacturers warranty.
Let me know if you require further assistance.
