Hi, We have a Westinghouse LTV-30W2 LCD that I think we purchased in 2005. It has been awesome, but lately will just turn off. Help? Fixable? approx. cost if repairable?

Gustav, Try factory reset,to get to the Setup Wizard. With the TV on press the menu button on your remote. While the menu is displayed press the 0 button four times. This should bring up a new menu with factory reset as an option.

I have owned my Westinghouse SK-32H240s for about 18 months now, and I ... Youwon't be certain if you are getting the right firmware or the complete firmware. .....makes it stop for a while, the same as it may with a weak antenna signal. .... would just go nuts and display a bunch of colored bars vertically.

is it ran through a HDMI cable?
sometimes the source is at fault or it could be a bad hdmi cable or maybe a bad hdmi port. if your using a hdmi try plugging it into another hdmi port and see if that helps
Hello, it sounds like you need to replace the inverter board on this unit. I would recommend opening the unit from the back cover, get the part # for the inverter board (long green board normally running accross the edge of the TV) and go to www.shopjimmy.com, they should have it in stock and if not you can try www.invertercentral.com, they should also have it.
green screen on hdmi is normally a defective hdmi cable. 1st try a different device , like a dvd player. if same problem try dif cable. if it still does not work you have a defective signal pcb otherwise known as a main pcb.
