If a file has actually been "overwritten" and not just "deleted" then no your photos are toast. Had they been deleted you may of had a chance. However you might want to attempt to use a program such as Tenorshare Data recovery and try and restore deleted photos . I doubt it will find anything that is actually recoverable but it never hurts to try.

Check out the link below to find the solutions.

Sorry for a late reply. These photos are highly possible to be recovered as long as you take the right steps.

First things first - Stop using the camera memory card immediately! Then connect the device where your lost images located to a PC which has installed a photo recovery tool.
If you are running Windows, try Digital Photo Recovery Software.
For Macintosh users, try Photo Recovery for Mac.

Remember - DO NOT write anything back untill you recover the photos safely. Once the photos are overwritten, it is impossible to recover. Best regards.

OK! Don't panic! As long as you've not overwritten your deleted photos on this memory card with any new file, you do have chances to get them all back successfully. So, I hope you could stop using this memory card right now till you've restored all your wanted photos back.
But, now, what you should do is to download a memory card data recovery freeware that can easily restore your deleted photos back for free.
Don't worry! I have tried this memory card recovery freeware as my phone memory card is accidentally formatted. It works well and restores all my needed contacts and images back. So, I recommend it to you.
Just download this memory card data recovery freeware here:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/03/memory-card-recovery.html

After experiencing these troubles, I hope you can be more careful about your important data and learn to back up it all the time.

Your digital camera usually store your pictures separately on a flash memory card and you need to have a card data recovery program to help yourecover deleted photo from digital camera.Maybe it's a good idea to try card data recovery for windows to help you recover all lost or deleted photos. It can recover photos after deeply scanning your memory card or computer to look for lost files you accidentally deleted or formatted.http://www.card-data-recovery.com/recover-deleted-photos-from-digital-camera-card.htm

Normally, file deletion only renames the first few symbols of a filename so its not recognised, it doesn't actually delete the file.

Try downloading a free file recovery programme to your PC. There are a couple on Filehippo.com
PC Inspector File Recovery 4.0 and
Recuva 1.36.479

There's another freeware progarmme called
Undelete +, but I'm not sure where to get that from.

Follow your nose through the recovery process but ensure you recover files from you Camera and recover to a new folder you've created on you PC.

If you recover back onto your camera card/memory you will probably overwrite the very photo's you're trying to save.

What is the best free program to recover deleted pictures from Olympus FE-25 camera?

First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.

Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
You can then recover photos from camera by downloading this photo recovery software
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Back-Up-and-Recovery/Asoftech-Photo-Recovery.shtml
Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.
