Neptune dryer runs then shutsoff then starts again

could be dirty electrodes, find the two shiny metal strips in the dryer drum maybe in the front, so you will stick your head in the drum and look back at the lint filter to see them. Clean these with window cleaner and try again.

Make absolutely sure the venting is clear going outside.
But, sounds like the Motor overheating.

If your machine is a FAV6800A to FAV9800A here is the Service Manual.
If it one of those machines I suspect a possible clutch malfunction.

Do you have any error codes to the display if it's a FAV6800A such as dC or uC unbalance codes. Is the wash tub banging around on Spin Cycle of the Wash Cycle? ……Rich

On the display panel under the start button is a signal indicator. If you push the button to the left of the indicator you should be able to reduce the volume and even turn it off. The button on the right of the signal indicator will bring the volume back up.

My Samsung dryer 8KG (SDC3K801) is not turning off after completed the cycle time. The panel showing end but the drum still running. If I choose Synthetics extra dry with auto cycle time 49, when the timer at 6, the display increased again to 25. It's seem the dryer is not stopping forever. Any suggestion please!. Thanks

If the machine keeps running but just not heating you have a thermostat issue. It could be the operating therm. or the high temp limit therm malfunctioning, shutting off the element.

If the machine stops running completely, check the door switch.

Verify there is still power at the wall and check the thermal fuse.

Start any cycle. Dryer runs for 10 to 15 minutes, then stops before cycle is complete. Start again, stops again in 10 to 15 minutes.

On my machine which is identical to this one I have to press and hold the stop button to end the programme and then turn off and unplug the machine to reset it. Following this run a spin only cyle(M) to get rid of the water.
Once the machine has drained and ended the M cycle try the door again. If this fails unplug the machine wait for a few seconds and then plug it in again and turn the program knob to any programme but do not start it running, just try the door it should open.
If all this fails it may be a problem with the contacts for the electrical stage of the door release or a faulty door lock.
