Seems that you have a faulty video card This is very common on tx1000,dv2000,dv6000,and dv9000.
There are a lot of ways you can fix it your own but I suggest if you are not familiar with laptop parts its better to take it to a professional and have it fixed.
Now if you want to fix it your own there are a lot of how to's on www.youtube.com just search for "video Card Fix" if you fix it by your own be careful not to mess your other components in the motherboard other than your video card. Hope this helps you fix your problem.

Fuzzy pink screen on hp dv2000

pink and fuzzy, what a place to be, no?
no photo posted, so not much anyone can do but guess.
sounds(seems) like a bad LCD
if the PC was made in 2008 the nvidia GPU chip has solderballs
defect. try twisting the screen then base see if screen changes,
yes= bingo. for bad GPU/LCD.
this PC is carbon dated at year 2007, so is in the window bad GPU.
no screens post
do the twist (no not chubby checker ) but by hands.
if the screen changes, with gentle twists the GPU /LCD is bad.
if only the screen frame changes the lines or colors twisted the screen LCD is bad (sure it is cable is falling off inside , only happens on molested, LCD, (service) as HP has it taped down secure day one, but others forget to put it back correctly.

Poor picture and colour quality on hd through hd box red is pink fuzzy hd picture

You need to check the resolution of your TV thru your input setting, try to check which will give better picture quality between 1080 or 720 settings. Also secure that your input setting as either HDMI 1 or 2 or 3, you can use the original remote and change setting by pressing input in cycle.

The pictures are coming out pink and fuzzy

Does this problem appear on the LCD only or on the printed pictures and the LCD?
Is this on all the pictures or just in certain SCN?

If you have the settings on AUTO the camera will automatically adjust to what it thinks will make the best picture.
Try and use the SCN.
You can also switch the flash on and off as you wish.

I hope it works out if not the camera will need a repair.

My display is pink & fuzzy.

You could have a faulty CCFL lamp or inverter, To determine if you have a LCD screen, inverter or video card problem, read this and follow these instructions.
Defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom: Screen flashs on red/pink and off. Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal. Picture flickering with dim display or appear black. Picture flickering on and off. All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replacing the CCFL lamp.
Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power the monitor up first then the laptop, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight. Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.

Pictures fuzzy when you look through the viewer.

The viewfinder and the picture lens are totally separate. If it looks fuzzy, and then comes out fuzzy, the capture screen inside needs cleaned. The main lens and viewfinder lenses should be cleaned too.
Get estimates before you say yes to the work. It might be cheaper to buy another camera, unless you can do the work yourself.
